This weekend was spent painting. Josh got to work on the dining room walls and the "onion skin" color is darker than I thought it would be. But it's ok. It doesn't look bad. The picture actually makes it look kind of light. Josh said we should rename the color "potato." Haha.
The kitchen ceiling needs touched up because there were some spots I missed and also some streaks. But I need to take a break from that. So I decided to do something fun and paint the kitchen blue! I only painted the parts that will be showing because a lot of it will be covered by cabinets or backsplash. This color is also darker that I thought it would be. It's a lot brighter in person. I'm just glad that it matched the tile I picked out for the backsplash.
Now that we are getting the kitchen and dining room painted, we are getting a lot closer to laying down the tile floor! Then we can put in cabinets and appliances! It looks so much less like a construction site with a little color on the walls. :)
